MTS to pick most successful startups from India for own business
ST. PETERSBURG, Jun 7 (PRIME) -- Russian major mobile operator MTS and Indian national investment agency Invest India have agreed to introduce technological projects from India into the operator’s business, MTS said on Friday in a statement.
“During the program, MTS will compensate for some expenses on the launch of pilots and movement of teams for the time of acceleration: up to 700,000 rubles per every project in total. The startups with successful pilots could bet on investments from U.S. $500,000 to $1 million,” the statement read.
The main directions of selection will be e-commerce, telemedicine, fintech, and Internet of Things solutions.
